Religiously inspired acts of terror cannot be fought on the streets. Terrorism begins
at the level of idea and belief and has to be dealt with knowledge, better ideas
and broader beliefs. It must be dealt with, before it affects the lives of innocent
people. Kashmir (India) and Bangladesh are an example of what terrorism can do to
human life. There are 400,000 Kashmiri Hindus living in camps as refugees in their
own country. Bangladesh had 37% Hindu population in 1941. Today there remains hardly
11% Hindu population. Foundation Against Continuing Terrorism is an initiative to
raise awareness, create grass-root support and affect policymaking, through exhibitions,
mass education and awareness drives. FACT sponsors projects to
educate and provide tangible solutions to major terror effected hotspots around
the world.
